THE PARTICIPANTS

As part of this event, artists and members of the public from Friedrichshain, Berlin and the UK were invited to bring in and talk about memorabilia, objects, documents, and photos from their lives in the divided Berlin.

These materials were projected as part of digital neo-Wall painting onto the resonating surface of the Bow Chimes. Visitors were also invited to play the steel instruments, which were bowed for 24 hours to invoke history and elicit memory.
